Interval House Newsletter Cover Letter

Women who arrive at our doorstep have been through hell and back. Many have endured unimaginable abuse at the hands of their partners. Most have suffered in silence for years before seeking help. And yet, through it all, each one possesses tremendous courage. It is this amazing courage that inspires us every day as we work together to help women fleeing abusive relationships rebuild their lives and create better futures for themselves and their children.

Evangel Hall Mission Easter Appeal

A comforting call during challenging days of chemo. A birthday card left on the doorstep. A simple: “Hello! How’s it going today?” These are the kind of heartwarming moments that our clients experience every day, thanks to the sense of community and human connection that beats strong at Evangel Hall Mission (EHM) – a community you’re a part of. Thank you for making EHM a place where people who are struggling with poverty and living rough can experience unconditional love and support.

Bissell Centre Spring Appeal

With the season of spring upon us, the world around us is blooming, growing and changing. It’s a joyous reminder that things get better after they were worse. And it’s a time when we can turn our thoughts to hope. But for the most marginalized members of our community, those who are struggling to make ends meet, living without a roof over their head or coping with addiction and mental health issues, it can be hard to see hope at the end of the tunnel.

Direct Mail Appeal for The Good Shepherd Toronto

Thank you so kindly for your support and generosity through these difficult times for all of us, especially the vulnerable people we serve. Poverty is crippling. It damages individuals, families and ultimately everyone in society. Even though we live in a prosperous country, poverty remains a major issue. What’s even more devastating is that in neighbourhoods across Canada poverty affects women more than men – and our community is no exception.

Direct Mail Appeal for Covenant House Toronto

With hot, sunny days ahead of us, a change in the weather means we can start enjoying the fresh air and spending more time outside. It’s something we can all look forward to, especially after so many months of staying indoors and fighting the pandemic. Unfortunately, at Covenant House, summer tends to be the most challenging time of the year as we expect more youth who will come to our doors. As it starts to warm up, youth who are experiencing violence and abuse at home get the courage to flee their homes. With no place to go, many of them end up living on the streets.
